At the conference on the quality of adults in early care and pre-primary education programmes entitled "Quality Care for Every Child" we will discuss together the issues of competence, expertise and preparedness of those in whose hands we entrust the little ones - children from 0 to 6 years.
The aim of the conference is to explore workforce development strategies, share experiences and bring together in dialogue all those involved in the development and quality of training of staff working in the early childhood and pre-primary education sector.
What can you look forward to?
The conference will provide a space to share interesting research findings, as well as a space to discuss the future direction of early childhood worker preparation and professional development in the context of reform agendas.
You can also look forward to engaging presentations, lively panel discussions, and sessions with people who care about every child being in good hands.
Speakers at the conference will include:
- international experts on the quality of early childhood education and care systems (UNICEF, European Commission)
- representatives of national policy makers, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Youth and its directly managed organisations
- Slovak experts and researchers from academia
- representatives of field-based early childhood care programmes for vulnerable groups of children
- representatives of the kindergarten sector
- representatives of providers of alternative pre-school education programmes
- experts in the field of inclusive education, inclusive policies and practices
